Jagdeep loves connecting with residents and their families, and ensuring care is delivered with kindness and compassion.
Like every member of our Care Team, she uses CareKeeper, an advanced technology application, to better understand and connect with each resident, so she can help them enjoy every day.
“CareKeeper is really helpful for everyone in our team. It holds all the up-to-date information about residents’ individual care needs, their lifestyle preferences and their life story. At a glance, I have everything I need to build meaningful connections and provide more personalised care,” she says.
“I can see their care plan, medication requirements, and any updates from other members of the team on my mobile device when I’m at the resident’s side. I don’t need to look back through paper notes in the office.”
“Importantly, CareKeeper enables me to build rapport and trust quickly because I can see residents’ hobbies and interests and can start a great conversation about things they like to talk about,” she adds.
Manager, Hasika, says the technology benefits all residents and staff. “We can tailor care to the residents’ needs, save time on admin, and spend more quality time directly with residents, instead of in Nurse’s stations.”
