Family Fun Day brings everyone together
There was something for everyone at the recent Family Fun Day – a fabulous event that truly captured the spirit of our community.
Music, laughter and excited chatter reverberated around The Bays Aged Care recently as residents, families and friends enjoyed our very own traditional fair.
The Australian Royal Navy Performance Band ensemble delighted the crowd, while a puppet show, games, and tarot card readings ensured plenty of fun for all ages throughout the day.
A delicious array of food stalls kept everyone well fed. A sausage sizzle, specially requested by one of the residents, proved a crowd favourite, alongside baked potatoes piled high with toppings, pizza slices, a classic Devonshire tea and plenty of other treats.
There were market stalls with plants, lovingly potted by the Garden Group, and beautifully knitted items showcasing the talents of residents and families.
It was a day of connection and shared joy – one to be remembered fondly by all who attended.
